Author Guidelines

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • I declare that this manuscript is original, has not been published before and is not currently being considered for publication elsewhere. I have no conflicts of interest to declare, All funding sources have been disclosed.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • JOURNAL POLICIES ON DATA SHARING
    Alijtihed for legal and economic studies supports open scientific exchange and lets authors share and archive data if applicable. authors are encouraged to share research data. Ethics, law, or privacy considerations should prevent data sharing. Due to privacy or ethics restrictions, Alijtihed for legal and economic studies data are available on request. Therefore, the corresponding author can provide the study's data on request. In the case of 3rd Party data, availability restrictions are applied, and the data collected from [third party] are available on request from the corresponding with the [third party] authorization.
  • The publication ethics, copyright, authorship, figure formats, and the format of data and references have been considered.

  • This journal allows free and open access to the scientific content published in it

  • Publication in the journal is free

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • This submission meets the requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
  • This submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration.
  • All references have been checked for accuracy and completeness.
  • All tables and figures have been numbered and labeled.
  • Permission has been obtained to publish all photos, datasets and other material provided with this submission.

Copyright and Licensing

The copyright is kept by the authors for every article published in Alijtihed for legal and economic studies. The articles are released under an open access Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 license, which permits anybody to freely download and study the work. In addition, the article may be reproduced and cited, provided that the original published version is referenced. These rules allow for the maximum usage and dissemination of the work while ensuring that the authors are appropriately credited.

Reproducing Published Material from other Publishers

It is imperative that authors seek permission to reproduce any published content (figures, schemes, tables, or any text portion) that is not in the public domain or for which they do not have a copyright. The authors must get permission from the copyright holder, usually the publisher.

Authorization is required for:

  1. Your own works that were published by other Publishers without you retaining copyright.
  2. Significant excerpts from the works or series of works of anyone.
  3. Use Tables, Graphs, Charts, Schemes, and Artwork if they are unmodified or only minimally altered.
  4. Photos for which you do not own the copyright.

Authorization is not required for:

  1. Rebuilding your own table utilizing data previously published elsewhere. Remember to follow that in this situation, you must cite the source of the data in the form of either "Data from..." or "Modified from...".
  2. Short quotations qualify as fair usage and therefore do not require authorization.
  3. Graphs, Charts, Schemes, and Artworks that have been totally redone and altered beyond recognition by the authors do not require authorization.

Obtaining Authorization:

To avoid unnecessary delays in the publication process, you should begin obtaining authorization immediately. If there is any doubt regarding the copyright, authorization must be requested. Without authorization, Dirasat: Educational Sciences cannot publish material from other publications.

The owner of the copyright may provide you with specific instructions regarding the format of the acknowledgment; otherwise, use the following format: "Replicated with authorization from [author], [book/journal title]; published by [publisher], [year]" at the end of the caption of the Table, Figure, or Scheme.

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses entered in this journal site will be used exclusively for the stated purposes of this journal and will not be made available for any other purpose or to any other party.
