The bank of Algeria has a pivotal role in monitoring the movement of capital to and from Algeria, through the supervision it exercises over the exchange market as its founder.
The essence of supervision revolves around achieving the growth of the national economy in accordance with the conditiobs, and legal procedures that protected and regulate the movement of capital to and from Algeria. The Bank of Algeria also seeks, through its control over the movement of capital, to provide internal and external stability for the exchange to protect it and regulate its movement.
