The United States of America did not have a clear vision or realistic approach to ending the ongoing Libyan conflict. But with the growing Russian influence in the Libyan arena, it prompted Washington to adopt a new strategy to redirect the Libyan crisis towards a political solution.
This study explains the reasons for the change in the American position towards the Libyan crisis and the extent of its effectiveness in curbing negative external interventions to ensure the return of security and stability, after the announcement of the ten-year strategic plan based on preventing conflict and enhancing stability with the aim of addressing the fragile conditions in conflict-prone areas, through the application of the law of fragility. Globally, Libya is among the countries covered by the application of this law.
