Abstract

Human trafficking is acknowledged as one of the most severe infringements of human rights and is showing a concerning increase on a global scale. In response to this, the Algerian legislator has enacted Law No. 23-04, aimed at preventing and combating human trafficking. This legislation seeks to establish clear definitions,

procedures, and mechanisms that help mitigate this crime and devise an effective strategy to tackle this foreign phenomenon within Algerian society, thereby lessening its adverse impacts.
