This research deals with the issue of the conversion to Islam of women without their husbands, the effect of this conversion on the marriage certificate, and what results from it as judgments. This research exposes the divergence of scholars on the subject, between those who immediately annul the act, those who annul it at the end of the waiting period (Iddah) and those who consider the act valid until the conversion of the husband. In addition, the research presents and discusses the legal evidence of each doctrine to finally issue the opinion retained as being the most probable in the matter.
