The Algerian Port Community System (APCS) was established as an electronic platform for exchanging digital data with the aim of digitizing the ports sector in the field of maritime transport of goods. It aims to simplify, facilitate, and expedite administrative and logistical procedures for the parties involved, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Algerian ports regionally and internationally. Additionally, it helps reduce fines for delays resulting from administrative bureaucracy and mismanagement of ports. Moreover, it plays a role in maintaining the security and safety of port facilities and ships by relying on international standards in this field.
