Abstract

    This study aims to emphasise the President of the Republic's role in safeguarding public rights and freedoms within the Algerian political system, as outlined in the constitutional amendments of 2020. It concluded that these amendments represent a significant improvement in this respect, emphasising the President's role as guarantor of these rights and freedoms and granting him substantial powers to enforce them.
