The outcome in Gaza was disastrous by any standard, and in a significant nod to the Al-Aqsa Flood operation, which marked a crucial shift in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict's history, it delivered a severe blow to the Israeli state, revitalizing the Palestinian cause and putting it back at the center of global focus during a time when it had become sidelined and overlooked. The outcomes of the operation were emphasized by European nations announcing their acknowledgment of an independent Palestinian state, with additional countries contemplating similar actions.
